I filled my Little Brown Sketchbook! Yay! I made it using a cover from a composition book I bought at Staples. I cut it down to fit the sewn signatures I made of 90 lb. hot press watercolor paper following the Reloaded Moleskine directions from Martha of Trumpetvine Travels.
I used manilla folders for endpapers to glue the signature to the cover and added an elastic to keep the book closed while in my bag (because you have to carry your sketchbook with you at ALL times! You just never know when the opportunity to sketch will present itself.).
I have a few pages to finish up. I'd love to add some color to a few of the sketches and some darks to the aloe plant sketch.
